The mobile Super Mario Run came out on iOS a few months ago.  For Nintendo, this was another big attempt to settle on the mobile market with the help of a well-known and long-established brand.  The Android version of the game will be available for download on Google Play on March 23rd.  Owners of smartphones running a mobile OS from Google will get to use Super Mario Run version 2.0.  Recall, a trial version of Mario provides access to levels 1-3.  And in case of successful passing  a special test for a free pass, level 4 will be opened. IOS owners will be able to download the update 2.0 for Super Mario Run, too, on March 23. Members of the US market have the right to file a complaint with the Commission on the International Commission of the United States (ITC) to determine violations of patent law, and banned the sale of certain products in the country.  Many developers of microcircuits and processors, as well as mobile devices tried to use this opportunity in their time, trying to force each other out of the American market, but lawyers also could make good money in these proceedings, and the plaintiffs achieved the desired result only in rare cases. Late last week, the agency said that it was launching an investigation into AMD's complaint, which accused a number of companies present in the US market of using its technologies and developments in graphics solutions illegally.  In violation of the rights of AMD and ATI for intellectual property are suspected LG Electronics, MediaTek Inc., Sigma Designs and VIZIO Inc.  The following product categories manufactured or used by components of listed companies fall into the risk zone: TVs, tablets, smartphones, graphics processors, wearable devices, and "other consumer products". Of course, the defendants have the right to appeal against the decision of ITC, even if it will contain categorical verdicts and bans.  The trial may drag on for years, and its outcome is uncertain, but now we know to whom AMD has patent claims. Taiwanese company Asus loses interest in tablets, preferring to pay more attention to smartphones and virtual reality devices.  Nevertheless, now it is preparing for the release of a new tablet.  It is tested in the popular benchmark GFXBench, so we know its main technical characteristics. As reported by PhoneArena , the heart of the new Asus tablet was the MediaTek MT8173 processor with a clock speed of 2.1 GHz, supplemented by a graphics controller PowerVR GX6250.  One of its main features will be a 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels.  The amount of RAM of the new tablet is 4 GB, and the capacity of the built-in drive is 64 GB.  It also has two cameras: a 7-megapixel main and a 4.7-megapixel front.  Tablet is running the mobile OS Android 7.0 Nougat. South Korean company Samsung is preparing to release a new mobile processor Exynos 8895. Exynos 8895, like Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, is built on a 10-nanometer process technology Samsung, and in terms of performance is not inferior to it.  This is clearly demonstrated by the results of the test in Geekbench. In the benchmark Geekbench tested a new flagship Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-G955F.  It is based on the Exynos 8895 processor with 4 GB of RAM and runs under the mobile operating system Android 7.0 Nougat.  In the test of one core smartphone scored 1978 points, and in the multi-core mode its result was 6375 points.  In the single-core test, the Exynos 8895 lost to Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, the result of which is equal to 2004 points, and in the multinuclear test it surpassed 6374 points against 6233 points. But in comparison with Kirin 960 it turned out the opposite - in the test of one core Exynos 8895 was more productive, and in the multi-core mode, on the contrary, lost.  The result of the smartphone based on the Kirin 960 with 6 GB of RAM was 1929 points in a single-core test and 6416 points multi-core. As noted by our colleagues from GizmoChina , the performance of  Exynos 8895 grew by 27% compared to  predecessor, and the power consumption decreased by 40%.  The new single-chip platform includes an eight-core processor and a Mali-G71 MP20 graphics accelerator.
