Memory manufacturers are not only eyeing the assets of each other , but also trying to consolidate their efforts in the most profitable areas.  For example, as noted by DigiTimes citing the Chinese edition of the Economic Daily News, a US company Micron Technology thought about selling their business for the production of solid-state memory such as NOR.  The latter is used in smartphones and tablets to store information used by the operating system, as well as for storage of firmware motherboards. According to leaked online documentation for developers reported that Nintendo Switch will use commercially available 20-nm technology adapted version of  processor Tegra X1 with the graphics system Maxwell generation.  Four processing cores with ARM Cortex-A57 architecture can operate at frequencies up to 2 GHz, and graphics system has 256 stream processors with frequency up to 1 GHz.  At least, these processors were equipped with pre-production prototypes Nintendo Switch.
