Qualcomm  reported on the work in the last quarter   2016 calendar year.  In respect of the annual revenue for the period increased by 3.9%, but it was slightly less than analysts' expectations.  During the fourth quarter, Qualcomm raised $ 6 billion. A year ago, the amount of revenue reached $ 5.78 billion. Analysts expected the company's revenue in the amount of $ 6.12 billion. Qualcomm's net profit declined significantly - by as much as 54%.  Thus, in the fourth quarter of 2015 the company received a $ 1.49 billion net profit in the fourth quarter 2016 net income was $ 681 million. The drop rate was for the reason that in December, South Korean Commission for Fair Trade (KFTC) has demanded from Qualcomm a fine of $ 868 million for anti-competitive behavior in the market.  This amount was deducted from the profits, but Qualcomm plans to continue to defend their case and for the occasion. the company also has to prove  innocence in the two claims of Apple to it (one in the US and one in China, totaling over $ 1 billion) and to sustain an investigation by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC).   Despite filed against it by Apple lawsuits, Qualcomm company will continue to supply its products for smartphones and Apple tablet.  From the supply of components, Apple and Samsung, Qualcomm receives up to 40% of revenue.  In the first quarter, Qualcomm expects revenue in the range of $ 5.5- $ 6.3 billion. February 27 in Barcelona starts annual international exhibition Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) mobile electronics.  Participation in the MWC 2017 will be leading brands, including Samsung, LG, Sony, Nokia, BlackBerry, Huawei and others.  Come to Barcelona for the upcoming exhibition and a Chinese company LeEco, which will bring with them their new flagship.  About the new product under the name LeEco X10 . According to the newspaper, at  MWC 2017 LeEco company will introduce a new flagship smartphone the X10, which has recently been seen on the benchmark GFXBench site.  Based on the above characteristics in the database GFXBench, LeEco X10 data will be based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor with Adreno 530 graphics and get two cameras: a 12-megapixel main and a 16-megapixel front.  Also, it will get a 5.5-inch display with Quad HD (2560x1440 pixels). The device is running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.  Hopefully the final version LeEco X10 will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat on board.  LeEco X10 will be released in two versions.  One of them will get 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, while the other is equipped with 6 GB of RAM and a built-in storage to 64 GB. As expected, LeEco X10 will be presented at the MWC 2017. Among the many heroes of the Overwatch  one particularly was noteworthy: a cute robot.  We're not talking about Dzenyattu, but about Bastion. Blizzard company released yesterday a patch that changes the balance of several popular game characters.  And today on the official forum of the game in a topic about the need for change Bastion appeared "blue message" from a senior game designer Geoff Goodman.  He wrote that he is now working on Bastion changes. The South Korean giant LG unveiled its financial results for 2016 as a whole and for the fourth quarter in particular.  The total operating profit of LG units was 1.34 trillion won (about $ 1.16 billion). Despite the fact that the results of 2016  profit LG was higher than a year earlier, the past year has been for us  not the best because of the loss of the mobile unit.  The total income received by the company at the end of 2016, amounted to 55.37 trillion ($ 47.92 billion), of which 126.3 billion won ($ 109.31 million) - this is the net profit.  In the fourth quarter of last year the company received 14.78 trillion won ($ 12.79 billion), which is 11.7% more than in the previous quarter and 1.5% more than in the same period last year.  Income LG's mobile division in the final quarter of 2016 amounted to 2.9 trillion won ($ 2.51 billion), which is 15% higher than in the previous quarter, but at the same time by 23% compared with the fourth quarter 2015.
