POSTER: computer news   ||    INTEL HAS SHOWN A WILLINGNESS TO SAVE ON PAPER AND CARDBOARD PACKAGING

DATE:2017-01-21

Intel regularly informs its customers about the changes in the packaging of products shipped, and this week they got a notice about the modernization of the packaging of goods supplied minimum quantities.  We are talking about wholesale buyers, which a large number of components, for whatever reasons, are not required, but because they are limited to the minimum available for ordering party.

If earlier the minimum batch from Intel components packaged in a cardboard box dimensions 361 x 358 x 85 mm or 381 x 381 x 76.2 mm, and the empty space is filled with wrapping paper, it is now used for these cases reduced by the width of the box: 359 x 177 x 380 mm or 403 x 177 x 430 mm.    However, there are questions to the increased height of the boxes, but according to Intel ,  this respect, too, has been optimized.  The purpose of the changes - to spend less paper and cardboard for packaging, protecting the environment.

The boxes of the new sample will be delivered mainly the Intel communications solutions, as well as some chipsets, codecs and processors Atom x5-Z8500 and Atom Z8550.  old and new sample packs will be used in parallel to the complete exhaustion of reserves first.

POSTER: computer news   ||   OVERCLOCKING RADEON RX 480 WITH THE HELP OF A PHASE CHANGE SYSTEM

DATE:2017-01-21

12 enthusiast does not complain about the lack of MD graphics solutions assortment productive innovations, and continues to set new records with Radeon RX 480. The voltage on the GPU increases up to 1.45 V or 1.6 V, in depending on the situation.  In GPUPI 1B test, for example, the video card was overclocked to 1711/8000 MHz at a temperature of minus forty degrees Celsius and voltage on the core 1.6 V.

The CPU Core i7-6950X generation Broadwell-E is also cooled by a phase transition system.  It cooled the processor to minus 80 degrees Celsius.  Its frequency thus reached 4.9 GHz or 5.0 GHz, depending on the test.  At frequencies 1600/8800 MHz graphics card Radeon RX 480 was able to show the best results in the model standings in the following disciplines:

  • 25,113 points 3DMark11 Performance;
  • 25,339 points Catzilla 720p;
  • 14,388 points Catzilla 1080p.

OVERCLOCKING RADEON RX 480 WITH THE HELP OF A PHASE CHANGE SYSTEM

POSTER: computer news   ||   NANOXIA INTRODUCED FANS LINE VIBRATION-FREE SPECIAL NNV

DATE:2017-01-20

As is known, sources of noise from the fans is not only the work of blades on the air movement, but also created at the same time with the vibration transmitted to the chassis or heatsink.  Nanoxia company has found a way to solve this problem, and introduced a new line of fans Special NNV, a key feature of which is, according to the manufacturer, the complete absence of vibration during operation.

In order to prevent vibration from the fan to be transmitted to the chassis or heatsink in fans Special NNV used  double border.

Total to date in the series Special NNV four 120-mm fan was presented, which differ in rotation speed and noise.  Model Special NNV 120 - PWM, as you might guess from the name, version supports PWM speed control.  Its blades can rotate at a speed of 400 to 1650 r / min, thus creating the air flow to 52.6 CFM (89,4 m³ / h).  The maximum noise level of 24.6 dBA.

Special NNV fans 120 in turn with prefixes 800, 1200 and 2000 have a fixed rotational speed and the actual component 800, 1200 and 2000 rev / min, respectively.  Slowest model capable of creating air flow in 27.2 CFM (46,2 m³ / h), while the noise level of only 6.1 dB.  Average novelty provides 44.7 CFM (75,9 m³ / h) with a noise level of 17.7 dBA.  Finally, the fastest of the submitted fan provides air flow to 73.0 CFM (124 m³ / h).

Fan Special NNV 120 - PWM will be available in mid-February, and the rest of the model a few weeks later.  The cost of new products will be 22 euros.

POSTER: computer news   ||   CRYORIG INTRODUCED A 140-MM FANS QF140 PERFORMANCE AND SILENT

DATE:2017-01-20

The family of 120-mm fans QF120 Cryorig company has been very successful, and now a manufacturer introduces a new line of larger 140-mm fans QF140.  As in the case of the 120-mm models included in the new line of two models - QF140 Performance and QF140 Silent, which differ in rotation speed, and noise, respectively.

As is the case with the 120-mm models in the series fans QF140 applied system Quad Air Intake, which is a special four holes on the corners of the fan frame, serving for additional air intake and create a more powerful airflow.  Also near the mounting holes are rubberized inserts, reduces noise from vibrations.  Fans themselves built on hydrodynamic bearings.

QF140 Performance model is positioned as an excellent solution for installation on radiators, air and liquid cooling systems.  New fan supports PWM control and can be rotated at a speed of 600 to 1850 r / min, thus creating an air flow of 128 CFM (217.47 m³ / h).  The maximum noise level 38 dBA.

In turn, the fan QF140 Silent best suitable for mounting on the case.  It also supports a PWM control, while rotating at a speed of 200 to 1000 r / min.  The noise level here ranges from 9 to 19.5 dB, and the maximum air flow of 42 CFM (71.36 cubic meters / h).

Fans Cryorig QF140 Performance and QF140 Silent  soon will be available, and their recommended price will be $ 15.
