Qualcomm is working on creating an improved version of the top processor Snapdragon 835, which will be called Snapdragon 836. It debuts in Google Pixel 2, as reported by our colleagues from GizmoChina . It was believed that the first smartphone based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 will be Samsung Galaxy Note 8, whose announcement is scheduled for August 23.  But now it turned out that the first updated chip will receive Google Pixel second-generation smartphones.  This, however, will not surprise us, considering that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor first appeared in Google Pixel and Pixel XL. The Core i9-7920X processor with 12 cores recently registered in the Intel price list, revealing a rather low base frequency of 2.9 GHz.  Mentions about the engineering sample of Core i9-7960X processor with 16 cores were also noticed in the Geekbench v4.0 database.
