The video card series radeon HD 46xx on base of RV730 chip will not be the cheapest AMD card in this autumn. NVIDIA Company recently presented the video card GeForce 9400 GT with cost $59, and AMD was forced to propose somethings better , but having a comparable price. At the end of September AMD will release a new video card on base of 55 nm RV710 chip with 64- bit memory bus. Elder model will obtain the name Radeon HD 4550 and the right to support GDDR3 memory , and the low-end model will be satisfied by DDR-2 memory : Radeon HD 4350.  According to AMD concept , the enemy of radeon HD 4350 with 256mb DDR-2 memory will become the GeForce 9400 GT. AMD will propose the Radeon HD 4350 from $39, and GeForce 9400 GT will be proposed from $59. The characteristics of standard video card on base of RV710 chip are :

MSI Company presented the video card N280GTX OC hydroGen. As producer assures, this video card is equipped with a water-block with the use of microchannels technology . Even at 700 MHz core frequency , 17% over the default , this water-block can retain the core temperature up to 10 degree Celsiuss lower than in video card with standard air cooler .   The most interesting, that simultaneously MSI presented the video card N280GTX- T 2d1G superOC with standard construction aircooler, which allow the video chip to work at the same frequency 700 MHz.  The previous oveclocked GeForce GTX 280 from MSI worked at 650/2300 MHz frequencies. [ Select Rating

ASUS released three version 9400 GT, two are equipped with active cooling system and one passive.  The characteristics of ASUS products are pretty similar to reference NVIDIA product . So, the 512- MB version ASUS EN9400GT, positioned as home entertaining center components, has the frequencies 550/800 MHz as standard model . Its elder model, EN9400GT/HTP/1G, is characterized by the same frequencies, but by the twice larger memory size ( DDR2 ).  The third version : had an enormous radiator, which covers almost all printed-circuit board : EN9400GT SILENT/HTP/512M. Its frequencies are identical to the two products named above, but the main difference is the noiseless cooling system. The memory capacity is equal to 512 MB.
