We already reported about new Nvidia video cards : Green edition. Today appeared the GeForce 9600 GT green edition version from zotac company  . In comparison with the reference frequencies card GeForce 9600 GT from NVIDIA, the core clock frequency in the green edition was decreased from 650 MHz to 600, the shader frequency from 1625 to 1500 MHz , and the effective memory frequency remained as before (1800 MHz). After sacrificing some performance, Zotac developers decreased the energy consumption of this video adapter to 75 W. Thus, the additional 6 pin power connector was eliminated. The memory volume in the 9600 GT green edition is 512mb, memory interface is 256 bits.
