We already talked about the possibility of some processors phenom II X3 to unlock the fourth core which was recognized by motherboard producers , and statistics indicates the presence of successful copies among processors, released on the fourth week 2009.
According to motherboard producers. Rumors about the possibility to unlock phenom II X3 processors actually raised demand for AMD three core processors . In the second place, motherboards producers recognized that some bios allows to unlock the fourth core on separate phenom II X3 copies , but this method works only on the limited processors quantity . Furthermore, the activation of the fourth core is possible not on all motherboards , and even if the fourth core is unlocked this does not guarantee the stability of processor in such regime.

AMD refused to comment this situation , but it noted that the value of phenom II X3 processors is already at the highest level.

EVGA Company recently presented the video card GeForce GTX 285 HydroCopper with the copper water-block with the relatively high default frequencies - 720/1620/2772 MHz.
Today appeared the photograph of Zotac GeForce GTX 285 video card , characterized by regular water-block. Like analogous solution from EVGA, this card will be based on the elder version GeForce GTX 285 .

PowerColor company already released the non traditional version Radeon HD 4850 with 512 MB GDDR-4 memory. Now Palit company intends to release the video card Radeon HD 4850 Sonic special edition, with 512 MB GDDR 5 memory .
The Radeon HD 4870 is already equipped with GDDR- 5 memory ; therefore, the new card from Palit will be a HD 4870 with lower frequencies . The cooling system in this new video card we be similar to Radeon HD 4850 Sonic:

We already talked about the video card GeForce 9600 GT green edition, basic changes in comparison with GeForce 9600 GT touched the printed-circuit board design and some technical characteristics. Frequencies are reduced from 650/1625/1800 MHz to 600/1500/1800 MHz, but the energy consumption level is not more than 59 W .

As reports associate, the faster video card GeForce 9800 GT green edition will not also require the additional six-pin power connector, since its energy consumption level does not exceed 75 W - exactly this amount is ensured by the PCI express x16 slot.
