U will run all new game @ middle and in some case @ low setting with this budget notebook :
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220342 (here is another option but with 17 inches screen :
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834147747
)
But for better gaming i will go with 17 inches and above screen 8800 Gts or better 2 Gb memory and Above , core 2 processor .

a bit better
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220379
4GB ram with 9700GT

about the same as above but with 17 inches monitor :

Wow really thanks you have helped alot!  :D
so the last option http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834147749
the computer with the NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
would be the best choice for running games at medium graphics?
what games would run at low? crysis?
i take it it can run spore    :)

oooh and crap everything will work fine won't it im buying from england.. like english games?

The GeForce 9600M GT for notebook = 8500 GT for desktop , its performance is between the 9500M GS and the 8700M GT.
Please do not confuse laptop and desktop video card .
9600M GT (notebook) = Only 8500 GT for desktop

The 9600 Gt for desktop has 256 memory bus and more stream processor so it is about twice faster .
SO for crysis u have to drop your screen resolution to 800x600 and to set graphic to low (in other words will not play crysis but a 19xx game  ;) )
FOr crysis u will need the notebook that i noted first @ list , There is no large sense to play game and desable all graphic on them  ;)

For most other game the card is good enough with medium setting @ the laptop resolution .
