1  Overclocking / Cooling / Re: What if ?! on: August 24, 2009, 03:04:18 pm
OK
My question was not clear enuff.
Of course the main coolant will be the distilled water.
What i ment is the anti-freezer for the pourpose of corrosion-preventive not as a coolant.
So, can it be used insted of special liquid ?!

Hi,
I have a question.
What if, I use in a water cooling system a very good anti-freezer for cars, and not a special coolant for water cooling ?!
This one has also the Corrosion-preventive in composition !
Will be the result not the same ?

Sorry, my mistake. I've loocked again and my cpu volt in bios is 1.3625.  Grin
I also cant boot completly at higher ram and voltage with the mutiplier of 10. Not even at 825MHz at 2.0 or 2.1v.
5  Overclocking / CPUs / Re: CPU OC on: December 16, 2008, 02:58:36 pm
First of all ty for quick reply!
The games stoped crashing since i've get the cpu volt at 1.38 (1.34 in cpuz). I've plaied for some hours now and no crash or something at all. Everything runs very well. I just wanna to know what is the safe volt for cpu.
My cpu is air cooled with a Scythe Ninja plus rev.B, and the temps dont go over 55?C.  Cool
So u say i can try with higher volt on ram than 1.9. I'll try that and tell u later what i achived with that.

Hi,
I have a question regarding oc-ing of a C2D e7300.
What Volt shuld i use in oc for this cpu ? The freq is now at 3850 @ 1,38V, ram 6400 @ 771 1:1. Should i do some change at NB too ? Y cant i ran the ram at higher freq ? I have tried to put the ram @ 1.9V as it is writen on it buth no way it can boot in windows. My older mobo (AsusP5K) with C2D e4300 @ 3.1G let raise the ram @911 without changing its volt, and worked like a dream.
I had the e7300 @ 3850 with 1.3125V and worked. Buth when i was try running a game always throw me out and closed the game.
My system is:
Mobo   - Asus P5Q Delux
CPU     - C2D e7300
Ram     - Corsair XMS2 6400 2x1G C5
GPU     - Asus EAH4850 512MB @685/1100
PSU     - Silver Power 500W
Display - Benq E2200HD
By the way in the bios i have the cpu volt@ 1.38 buth in cpuz and cpuid shows it @ 1.344.

Hey Aseem,
I had a similar question and the answer was that theres no need to upgrade. I'm also with a P35 chipset, and i had the same idea with the upgrade on PCIE 2.0.

By the way, what did u get for ur comp from the contest prize ?  Grin
 I didn't recieved mine yet !  Huh
