Fist of all thank you for all those great reviews on the main website, I have learned that you don't need to buy the most expensive CPU for a good overclock. Now I have this question, I want to buy an Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 for overclocking, but this CPU has 2 different versions. L2 Stepping comes first, then comes M0 stepping. M0 stepping operates at lower tempertaure, has higher T-Case value and should overclock higher. How can I tell which stepping is inside the retail box. From Intel site I can find 2 different codes. L2 Stepping = SLA3F : M0 Stepping = SLA98. But is this information printed on the box. If yes, I can call the retailer and ask for the SLA98 box to make sure I get M0 stepping.
