How accurate is this review (9600GT roundup?)

I was wondering about the accuracy of this review: http://xtreview.com/review220.htm

For example, in vast majority of tests done in that review, a cut down 8800GS beats G80 based 8800GTS 320MB/640MB cards and in few tests it beats 9600GT cards and comes close to 8800GT 512MB. That can't be right, can it? From what I've seen on other websites and reviews done with 8800GS cards from XFX and EVGA (reviews on TPU, VRzone, and Driverheaven) 8800GS is not a great performer.

Welcome to the forum This 8800 GS has high clock frequency in comparison with other , this explain the performance boost  in low resolution .
In addition test here @ xtreview are done 3 time before posting the value . so they are 100% accurate .

Oh okay. I was just wondering. I found few reviews on several Hungarian sites where 8800GS is considerably slower than 9600GT/8800GT cards (up to 40% to 45% or more on average) and that didn't match up with what I was seeing here on Xtreview. For instance, a review on the link below shows 8800GS in a much different light (it is the slowest card in the test lineup)

Also, I couldn't believe 8800GS was faster than a G80 8800GTS 640MB, but you seem like you know what you are doing, so I guess it is true.

Oh yeah, before I forget, which version of 8800GS did you use? EVGA, ASUS, XFX, or Palit?
