Building New Rig - Suggestions?

Hello. First of all, I would like to go ahead and compliment you on an excellent site. 

Now to the main topic. I will (hopefully) be building a new computer soon, primarily for gaming purposes. Target budget will be around $2,000 USD. As of now, here is what I am considering:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
Motherboard: Asus P5N-D nforce 750i
PSU: OCZ GameXtreme 700W
RAM: 2GB Patriot Viper 1066MHz DDR2
GPU: EVGA GeForce 8800GT Akimbo SC

Case: Cooler Master Cosmos 1000
Optical Drive: Lite-On 16X DVD-rom
Sound Card: Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
Cooling: Zalman Reservator XT Liquid Cooling
HDD:  Hitachi Deskstar T7K500 500GB 7200-rpm

All reccomendations are greatly appreciated. ( I already have the peripherals and OS)

Did the 2000 $ include the monitor ??.
Here what i suggest :
Cpu : Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2.4GHz 9x266 )-250$ [expected overclock 3400-3800 mhz(depend on processor and cooling)] or intel q9550 (2.66 GHz 8*333)--350$ [expected overclock 3800-4200 mhz (depend on motherboard)].
Why to waste money on dual core when u can get a Quad  .
Motherboard : Asus P5K Premium/WiFi-AP -- 155 $ (your motherboard is also good but i prefer i780) .
PSU: OCZ GameXtreme 700W (is ok)
GPU: GeForce 8800GTS or just wait for 9800 GTX (price should be around 300$ . in any case it is better to wait since price will drop after the GX2 and GTX release ) .
Case: Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 (i don't care about case  )
Cooling: Zalman Reservator XT Liquid Cooling (pure crap don't buy) .
Go with something better .
Maybe even vapochill ls for long use and granted 4Ghz on both processor (the price is around 800$ depend on your location)
