yes its easier as compared to INTEL's heat sink but still the amount of force required to clamp down the heatsink to the CPU is scary.

So true... I always feel like I'm going to snap my CPU in half when I have to install a heatsink!  The older AMD's had nothing over the core of the processor.  Very scary moment clamping down the heatsink when there's absolutely no barrier to give it some protection!

Its easier than Intel but then Intel's effort pays off. The cooler's, though light on weight and essentially nothing on metal, still perform pretty good because their contact is tight with the CPU.


Another reason why Intel processors overclock so great on stock coolers. :p
