This sounds like a great idea. Manufacturers probably can start selling more efficient power supplies next year, but it'll take a couple of more years for customers to adopt them. Of course, a hydrogen power supply wouldn't use any electricity.  Wink

Yeah right, power supply producer get in the right way.
intel already forget about MHZ race and start making energy effective processor , AMD also do a good job in this sphere,
In 2008 all processor will be packed in 35-45w TDP.
Remain only to see some low power video card But with good performance. Wink

yes that a really wonderful idea but i dont think that it will be in effect so soon .I feel that we may have to wait for some more years.

Yes , currently those PSU prototype are very expansive .AND there is no cheap way to lower the prime production cost .

yeah it will take time for people to get adapted to them but i think govt will motivate such products and the price can be adjusted according to people's buying potential.
