The success of the mobile platform (centrino) first generation inspired AMD to create a new platforms as the balanced packages.
ATI Purchase , allowed AMD to obtain not only chipset for its own processors, but also the possibility to create discrete graphical solutions. This idea pushed slightly the company to announce the new initiative GAME!, which must simplify the search process of user for gaming balanced system .
GAME! Platform divides desktop systems in to two levels:
- GAME! - > system is capable of working with popular games : speed not below than 30 FPS with resolution 1280 X 1024. In the list of minimum hardware requirements enter the processor athlon X2 5600+, video card radeon HD 3650, chipset AMD 770 or NVIDIA nForce 5xx, DDR-2 memory capacity not less than 2 Gb.
- GAME! Ultra - > system is capable of working with popular games : speed not below 30 FPS with resolution 1600 X 1200. In the list of minimum hardware requirements enter the processor phenom X4 9650, video card radeon HD 3870, chipset AMD 770, and not less than 2 Gb DDR-2 memory .
Certainly, 30 FPS will not arrange all games amateurs .
Corresponding to the given requirements , finished computers will get the special marks with logotypes of components and platform . Furthermore, AMD promises to regularly update the list of requirements for GAME! platform : motherboard, video card, power units, memory modules, case, cooling systems ......
