Now intel company is ready to begin the delivery of its SSD for centrino 2 platform (Montevina), whose announcement is planned for the second-half of June. A part of  centrino 2 notebooks will be equipped WITH SSD from intel production  at the end of the third quarter.


First SSD will be supplied in two models: Client X25- M (2.5 ") and Client of X 18- M (1.8 "). Both models will have a serial ATA interface and 80 Gb capacity . To the end the of the fourth quarter SSD capacity from Intel will increase to 160 Gb, and in the following year it will exceed 250 Gb.
