I do a lot of banner creation and normally use the free program called Gimp. I'm wanting to try to learn more and have more available options. Anyone know a good program for this that is REASONABLE or FREE? Doesn't have to be really fancy just something that can easily be used. thanks

Gimp is far and away the best free option you can get.  You can do almost anything with Gimp that can be done in photoshop, but PS has more tools, support, and better functions.  I would stick with Gimp and keep improving your skills, unless you can get photoshop.

yeah gimp is good but looking at the feature od photoshop every designer wants to get expertise in photoshop.If you want better looks for banners with little efforts ,use photoshop.
