The Radeon 9200 pro is too buggy;  constant blue screens of death involving the driver "ati2dvag"

even with drivers being upgraded, there is still no fix to the problem.

If anyone disagrees with me, or has a solution, kindly post here.

I thought ATI was usually good as well. I have never encountered problems with it.

Try newer drivers or the alternative DNA drivers from Guru3d.com and see if it makes any difference.

The 9200pro is the standard "low-end" Best Buy/ Circuit City graphics card now.  I've probably purchase four of them for family/friends computers that I've built!  I've never had any problems with them.  The versions with 256mb or 512mb onboard memory are actually suprisingly decent for the games we've tried to run!

Haha.  It's not bad when I just need to run and get a graphics card to make someone's computer work.  Usually they're like $40 or less and it's a better option than waiting for NewEgg.  It seems like EVERY dedicated computer parts retail store around me has closed down.  Sad

I should open one up...  Grin
