We already noted that in the inexpensive wide-format monitors segment ( base of TN- matrices ) some models with 2048 X 1152 resolution began to appear . This week in Japanese stores appeared one of the first inexpensive monitors with 23 inches and 2048 X 1152 resolution - Samsung 2343BW. The Matrix with 0.25 mm pixel provides the brightness of 300 cd/sq. m, dynamic contrast 20 000: 1, the response time of 5 ms and viewing angles 170/160 degrees .  This monitor can work with video card class Radeon HD 3850 : it supports the resolution 2048 X 1152.  In this expensive country ( Japan ), this monitor is proposed for $314. Consequently, in other regions it will be cheaper.

The Chinese company huntkey declared about the release of modular power units : cable master. Each model in this new series possesses five power line +12 v for guaranteeing the safe and reliable power of all system components . Currently, two versions are accessible with the certified power of 800 W and 900 W. The result of independent examination confirms THE EFFICIENCY of those PSU at the level of 88% with minimal load. Both models passed the certification on standard 80PLUS, in this case the elder 900 W model was certified at the level 80 PLUS silver, and the 800 W model : at the level 80 PLUS bronze.  The summary output power of five channels +12 v for the low-end model is 64 A, and the elder : 70 a. The declared failure time is not less than 100 thousand hours. According to associate , micro-Star international (MSI) company plans to release two additional notebook with 10 inches screens. The corresponding models obtained the designations wind u110 and Wind u115. The screens resolution for U110 and U115 will be identical : 1024 x 600 pixels. Both notebooks include the processor : atom z530 (single core, 1,6 GHz), wi-Fi module, memory card reader (4- in -1) and web- camera. The notebook MSI wind u110 will be equipped with 1 GB memory and with 120, 160 or 250 GB HDD (model with 250 GN HDD , will be completed by Linux OS ). At the same time, the model u115 will be accessible with 1 or 2 GB memory, and in some configurations it will include a SSD . Wind u115s will have a SSD, ( load the operating system ), and HDD for programs and data. Here is the list of available options : 8 GB SSD + 80 GB HDD, 16 GB SSD + 120 GB HDD, 32 GB SSD + 160 GB HDD. In Poland appeared a new notebook : VIA aristo pico 840 . This mobile PC built on VIA platform ,include the VIA C 7 M (1,2 GHz) processor, as chipset come VIA VX800 with built-in graphic core. VIA promises that aristo pico 840 allow up to five hours of work from one battery charge.  This notebook has a 8,9- inches display : 1024 X 600 , expressCard 34, wireless interfaces wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0. This device is equipped with 1 GB DDR3 memory and 60- GB hard disk.
