The Taiwanese company Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, also known as TSMC, will produce nearly half of mobile processors A9 for future mobile devices Apple.
According to sources, TSMC has received an order for the production of 40 to 50% of all processors A9. And the rest of the order due to low prices acquired South Korean company Samsung, which with Apple longstanding partnership. Sources indicate that Samsung has offered a US company lower prices for the products than TSMC.
It is noted that TSMC will produce all of the processors for the iPad 2015 model year, while Samsung has got an order to produce SoC for the next iPhone. Now TSMC manufactures all A8 chips for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
