We already talked in previous news about the video card geForce 8500 GT with GDDR- 3 memory from sparkle. The GDDR- 3 memory volume in the GeForce 8500 GT version can reach 512 mb. Walton chaintech company decided to not lag behind its competitors, and announced the video card Apogee GAE85GT, which is the versions geForce 8500 GT with 256 mb GDDR- 3 memory , working at frequencies 594/1540 MHz. Let us recall that standard video card geForce 8500 GT is equipped with 256 mb DDR-2 memory , and it operates at frequencies 450/800 MHz. The memory System bus remained as before 128- bit in both cases. Due to the Advantage in frequencies , Chaintech assert that in the test 3DMark'06 the new video card has 35% higher score than the default one.
Besides the two DVI ports with dual-Link function , this video card can propose to advanced users HDMI support , which is realized by the the adapter DVI - > HDMI. Sound from video card is send through S/PDIF. In the complete set with this video card they are a cable HDTV and S -Video (with 150 cm length ) . HDCP function is also supported.
