Seagate has started selling its latest 2.5-inch ultra-thin Laptop drives line oriented to ultra thin and light mobile, compact notebooks and ultrabooks, tablet computers, has a thickness equal to only 5 mm and weight only 93 grams. Laptop Ultrathin Drives are available in three configurations: 320 GB (model ST320LT030), 500 GB (model ST500LT032) and 500 GB with auto encryption, matching the standard specification Full Disk Encryption from the Trusted Computing Group. Devices use only one magnetic plate speed equal to 5400 r / min, 16 MB cache, the average access time of 5.6 ms, and support high-speed SATA 6Gb / s interface. In active mode, the power consumption is 1.4 watts drive in idle mode - 0.47 watts. The recommended retail price of 320-GB drive Seagate Laptop Ultrathin HDD is $ 89. | ||
