After Intel yesterday explained the hierarchy of Skylake-SP processors, it became clear that they differ not only in the binding to this or that color or valuable metal, but also in the level of functional characteristics. Along with the presentation appearance  , the official price list was updated, in which new server Xeon processors occupied a separate section.  The easier it is to compare prices and calculate forces when ordering processors.  By the way, AMD has not announced prices for its server processors EPYC yet, but they will mainly play in the league of systems with two processor connectors, whereas Xeon Platinum swings by eight at once.
