In Japan, appeared hard drive WD WD20NPVT, referring to the series Green. The drive is a hard disk size 2.5 inches with an impressive capacity of 2 TB. The distinctive feature of this HDD is its thickness, which is 15 mm instead of the standard 9 mm.  The drive supports SATA interface, and has two cache memory of 8 MB.  The HDD supports technologies that reduce power consumption, heat and noise of the drive. It also supports technology NoTouch (technology park heads) and IntelliSeek (calculates optimum seek speeds). The power consumption of HDD is 0.2 watts in sleep mode and 1.7 watts in the stress state.  The manufacturer provides a two-year warranty. Dimensions of the drive are 100 x 70 x 15 mm, weight 180 g.
