Buffalo company at CeBIT 2013 has brought a new model - DriveStation Mini Thunderbolt SSD Edition. This device combines two drive size 2.5-inch on flash memory in a small enclosure with active cooling. SSD operate as two separate drives (Buffalo calls this mode JBOD, but this term can be interpreted in two ways), and a utility for Mac OS X will integrate the device into an array of RAID.  In RAID 0 read speed serial data DriveStation Mini reaches 740 MB / s, write - 600 MB / s. On sale will be available few versions with total capacity of 256 GB (� 470), 512GB (� 660) and 1 TB (� 1100). Buffalo also showed external drive DriveStation DDR, equipped with one gigabyte of DDR3 memory , used as a data cache.  Finally, external drives with USB 3.0 interface. They are based on a 2.5-inch hard drives with a thickness of 7 mm. The 500 GB version cost � 70.  Related Products : | ||
