what is the the 6800xt:the card look like the 6800le it s come with nv40 gpu
it has 8 pixel and 4 vertex pipelines.the card should come cloocked at
325 MHz for the gpu and the ram will operate at 700 MHz (256 bit as
bus width ) using the nvidia clock referance as u know that some
Manufacturers sell preoverclocked card the one witch will be tested
today has
come with 425 MHz for the core and 500 MHz the memory .the card come
clocked a bit high if we taked in our mind the nvida referance clock
but it come guaranted to work at those clock and operate stably

what (XT) mean: in ati language xt mean xtreme edition it s alwais come with high end card such 1900xtxt or
1800xt etc... but in nvidia side the xt mean cripled budget card
lower pipeline unit ,lower gpu clock and memory to get the price of the card down

performance booster is some case over the smart shader 3 .especially
with new game patch you can see a great performance improvement sm3 .
and of corse u will get smouther gaming using sm3 there is a game
support. so u sould be happpy with nvidia geforce series 7 and 6 they
fully support the sm3 and yes it help in some game and improve a lot
the gaming performance

6800xt gaming benchmark
Serious Sam 2
here the 6800xt was beaten by all other
card the 6600gt win here by 1 fps ,thanks to the high clocked
gpu(500mhz ) . the 256 -bit memory bus of the 6800xt is no helping at
all it still toped out with 6600gt witch have only 128-bit memory
interface.but the 6800 xt is providing enough fps to play with some
moderated high setting the game and enjoy the game play
Splinter cell
wow 138 fps for the 7800gtx card. the
geforce 7 gpu is a lot better than 6 one . the 6800xt is
performance is good here it score 76 fps even higher than the 6800 witch
come with more vertex and pixel shader. the core clock played a
large role in this benchmark remenber that the 6800xt card used was
preoverclocked 425/1000 MHz witch higher
by 100 MHz than the nvidia stock referance
here is now some result with Hdr enabled
.the only geforce 6 gpu presenting respectable frame rate was the one in 6800gt
. the 6800xt here top the 6600gt and the 6800 by 5
and 1 fps respectivly. the 7800gtx card is provinding awesome
performance .with 101 fps witch more than enough
Quake 4
based in open gl witch performing very well in nvidia card (Thanks for nvidia optimized driver)
nothink especial here it look clearly that the 6800xt performance is somewhere between the 6800gt and 6800 .except
for the 6600gt win here over the 6800 by 1 fps . all the card has
pretty smilar performance lets know move to 16aa and 8 af and see
results
first I would notice impressive performance
of the 7800gtx card look not even 1 fps drop . all the other card geforce 6 serie has soufer from the high setting but they still
producing enough fps for good game play with full graphic setting
enabled.no change here again the 6800xt confirm its place over the
6600gt card
farcry
the setting used was 1600/1200 resolution .
all the card are providing respectable fps but I alwais enjoyed gaming
with 60 fps++ as frame rate.the 6800xt is compliting with 6800 card
about the same fame rate. the 6800xt out scored the 6600 gt by 9 fps
witch is nice result.
Lets see now some synthetic benchmark
3d2003 benchmark result
the result of this benchmark confirm the
performance of the 6800xt card.it is again somwhere better than 6600gt
and equal or higher from the 6800 stock
6800xt 3d 2005 benchmark result
The same here for 3d mark 2005 and the 6800xt performance
6800xt Overclocking
as u know the card come preoverclocked so I was not excepting a high overclock from it.generally the nv 40 gpu
should overclock in 400 MHz ++ range

The overclocking result of the 6800xt is
pretty good. The onboard DDr 3 memory is also dowing well with 280 MHz
of overclock ,about 25% from the memory and 12% from the gpu.
lets see how much of gaming improvement we have got from this overclock
about 15 % of performance increse should be
right with the overclocked 6800xt. u can clearly see a nice boost of 10
fps aproxsimativly is those game.
Coclusion of our 6800xt review
First I want to note : the card used in our
test was coupled with DDR 3 memory and preoverclocked card so the
6800xt as nvidia referance card should be a lot lower
325/700 vs 425/1000 this should be about 25% boost . please check twice the card clock before making any order.
The 6800xt is now a good low range card
witch provide enough fps for medium to high setting gaming .u could
also consider the 7600gt witch is now the middle range card u can check
