Even in the first days after the start of sales of AMD Ryzen Threadripper processors in Japan, local buyers were not very flattering about their price, and some even preferred to order goods from abroad.  Realizing not the most comfortable situation for themselves, after a while, Japanese stores decided to reduce prices by 10-12%.  Meanwhile, the joy it added only to those who were only going to buy Ryzen Threadripper processors in Japan, and the buyers of the "first wave" could only regret the vain overpayment for urgency. However, as the website of AKIBA PC Hotline explains, on its page on Twitter the Japanese office of AMD placed an appeal to local buyers and explained that it is ready to provide monetary compensation to those who purchased Ryzen Threadripper 1950X and 1920X processors at inflated prices until August 30 of this year inclusive .
