The end of year is an outstanding period for the publication of future plans  , since the partners, investors and series users obtain the possibility to be convinced of the viability of the company . Here is the September AMD roadmap which  contains the references about the new desktop platforms, including the 2011 products. In 2010 as it communicated earlier, AMD will release the processors thuban with six core and built-in memories controller with DDR- 3 supports, which will preserve compatibility with socket AM3. These processors will be released on 45 nm technology, announcement is planned for the period not earlier than the third quarter 2010. Thuban processors will become part of leo platform, together with RD890 chipset, south bridge SB850 and discrete graphical solutions with directX 11 support. We already reported about lynx platform  , which in 2011 will open to AMD production worshippers the first 32 nm processors with integrated graphic core. Hybrid processor llano can contain up to four computational core and even one graphic core with directX 11 and UVD3 support  . The integrated memory controller will work with DDR- 3. The computational core llano inherit the architecture  shanghai, putting aside the introduction of a more contemporary architecture bulldozer . Today we also learned, that llano processors will have the two-chip layout: computational core and graphic core will be physically placed on two different crystals. In the productive segment AMD is going to present in 2011 32 nm zambesi processors , which will obtain not less than four computational core. The built-in memory controller will as before work with DDR- 3, and the design concept socket AM3 will pass to the second revision. Related Products :
