In the past week, we reported about the disputes between Intel and NVIDIA relative to license for DMI bus: We should recognize that the situation around the future NVIDIA chipset for AMD platform is also ambiguous. In the interview with Drew henry this last reported, that NVIDIA will not release new chipset for AMD platform, and then the company does not intend to develop DMI-chipset for Intel processors .In the new generation chipset for Intel processors , NVIDIA company will provide a certain patent protection from the possible juridical claims from the side Of Intel. In other words, the latter will not succeed in forbidding NVIDIA to release chipset for atom processors even after the transfer of graphic core in the processor. Mr. Henry also hints, that NVIDIA will propose a certain new technology of information exchange between several video chips, which will raise the speed relative to the existing solutions. Possibly, we deal with the new generation of SLI technology.
