We learned almost a week ago about the characteristics Of radeon HD 5700. This video card is based on the graphic processor juniper, which possesses directX 11 supports and produced with the use of 40 nm technological processes. Today Radeon HD 5750 and Radeon HD 5770 were presented officially. New GPU consists of 1.04 billion transistors, has area 166 sq. mm., support PCI express 2.1 and 128- bit memory with GDDR- 5 supports. The characteristics of video cards appear as follows: Radeon HD 5770 - > $159, 10 SIMD blocks, 800 stream processors, 40 sample units and textures filtering  , 16 blocks ROP,  128- bit memory, core clock frequency : 850 MHz, memory clock frequency  GDDR5 : 1200 MHz (effective – 4800 MHz), energy consumption in rest - 18 W, under load - 108 W; Radeon HD 5750 - > $109-129, 9 SIMD blocks, 720 stream processors, 36 units sample and filtering textures, 16 blocks ROP, 128- bit memory, core clock frequency : 700 MHz, memory clock frequency GDDR5 : 1150 MHz (effective – 4600 MHz), energy consumption in rest - 16 W, under load - 86 W. Both video cards have the identical interface ( DVI, Display port and HDMI) support the technology eyefinity, which allow  to connect up to three monitors simultaneously. Radeon HD 5770 appears similar to the elder version radeon HD 5800. From Radeon HD 5800 this card is distinguished by the smaller length and the presence of only one six-pin additional power port. This card is equipped with 1 Gb video memory GDDR- 5. Radeon HD 5750 uses another cooling system, which consists of radiator and fan with classical construction. This card will be released  in two versions, with 512 mb and 1 Gb video memory, for $109 and $129 respectively. The first tests allow to estimate the  speed level of those cards. In the speed regimes , without smoothing , radeon HD 5770 demonstrates the productivity at the level Of radeon HD 4870, being faster in the majority of cases than the geForce GTS 250 and lagging behind the GeForce GTX 260. Low-end card  , Radeon HD 5750,  is slower than the GeForce GTS 250. With the use of picture smoothing the new card result improve , but the arrangement of forces remains: Related Products :
