For the first time, we reported about 40 nm graphic processors NVIDIA in the beginning of years, when  GT215, GT216 and GT218 GPU was presented as solutions for notebooks. Later these chips appeared in the discrete solutions for OEM segment, and here finally GT218 and GT216 reached the wide market. On the base of these GPU were officially presented the GeForce G 210 and GeForce GT 220. The third chip  , GT215 (GeForce GT 240), will be presented later. All chips possess the support Of directX 10.1 and the updated architecture GT200. Furthermore, on the GPU crystal  now there is a sound chip, which frees from the need to transit sound . The characteristics of new card appear as follows: GeForce G 210 - > $49, 16 stream processors, 8 units sample and textures filtering, 4 blocks scanning operations,  64- bit memory with  DDR-2 support,  core clock frequency : 589 MHz, shader domain : 1402 MHz, video memory : 400 MHz (800 MHz DDR); GeForce GT 220 - > $79, 48 stream processors, 16 units sample and textures filtering, 8 blocks scanning operations, 128- bit memory with DDR- 3 support, core clock frequency : 625 MHz, shader domain : 1360 MHz, video memory : 400 MHz (800 MHz DDR). These video cards are the replacement Of GeForce 9400 GT and GeForce 9500 GT respectively. Related Products :
