We already transferred the distinguishing features of new processors, it remained only to learn, how new stepping will overclock.
Let us examine the existing statistics of overclock of processors cedarMill-512, based on the stepping C1. After raising vcore on the core and after installing a powerful air cooler and after procuring successful copy, such processors is capable to clock to the frequencies on the order of 5.0 GHz even above. High multiplier in this case make possible to bypass the low frequency of the system bus.
Today appeared the overclocking result of processor celeron D 360 (3.46 GHz, engineering model) to 5.2 GHz using air cooling. By what cooler was used, it was not communicated, it is known that the model of motherboard was abit AW9D (i975X).
