The announcement periods of video card with fermi architecture disturb all amateurs of computer games, but NVIDIA does not hurry to present the corresponding products. According to associate, on CES 2010 exhibition in the beginning of January will be only shown the working models of video card on base of GF100 chip, whereas the announcement is planned for a later period.

NVIDIA chapter acknowledged that the reason for the scarcity of video card GeForce GTX 2xx is the unexpectedly high demand in the retail segment. All reserves of this video card were literally sold off in the previous block, which in the financial calendar NVIDIA ended on 25 October. Priority in the deliveries remains to OEM- segment, so for the following block the needs of retail segment will be sacrificed. Formally, the GeForce GTX 2xx are not removed from production , but they already almost completely turned to the use of 55 nm chips, but there are released insufficiently for the satisfaction of demand.

Jen-Hsun huang promised to participants in the quarterly conference that in the first quarter following year NVIDIA company will start the full-scale deliveries of video card with fermi architecture in all three key segments: (GeForce), professional (Quadro) and computational (Tesla).

Products with fermi architecture will be released on 40 nm technology.
