Scientists still did not create the artificial eye, capable to approach on their possibilities the natural visual organ. But, many of the existing today devices are capable of substantially facilitating life to people with the limited possibilities. Intel company supplemented this list with still one new device called reader.
Mobile computer on base of atom processor with small screen and by five-Megapixel camera with the function of automatic focusing. Built-in software allows to recognize text taken by camera and to convert it in voice communication. In other words, Intel reader - is a portable recognizer of text .  For people with the sight problems Intel reader increase the text size . The built-in disk with 4 Gb volume allows to store 600 pages of text for the recognition or 500 000 pages of finished text. As operating system Linux is used .  Intel reader cost $1499, for those desiring to create their own audio- library it is proposed the device portable capture station, which cost $399 .
