On the official NVIDIA site appeared information about the graphic accelerator GeForce GT 240. Previously, this product was accessible only for OEM- company partners.  As the base model serves the graphic processor GT215, made on 40- nm technology. GPU Configuration counts 96 stream processors. 128- bit memory interface is capable to ensure the capacity up to 57,6 GB/s.  The clock frequencies, are 550 and 1360 MHz respectively (core shader). There are several accessible versions with GDDR3 or GDDR5 with different volume. The maximum power, which video card consumes in the load peak, is 69 W.  This card supports DirectX 10.1, OpenGL 3.2, and also NVIDIA CUDA and PureVideo technologies. For monitor connection D -Sub, DVI and HDMI are supported. 
 In the majority of cases, the video card is equipped with 512 and 1 GB memories, which works at the frequency 1600 MHz (in case of GDDR3) or 3400 MHz (in case of GDDR5).
