In xtremeSystems page appeared the engineering models clarkdale stepping C1 under liquid nitrogen, and the new achievement belongs to the processor core i 5-670 (3.47 GHz). First, with the core voltage 1.94 v and the base frequency 256 MHz it was possible to raise the total processor frequency to 6922 MHz. The processor passed CPU- Z validation at this frequency  , but not more. The test superPI 1M processor was completed at the frequency 6.76 MHz with the result of 6,344 seconds. This is the new world record, which exceeds the result, achieved by the processor  core i 7-975 Extreme edition at the frequency 6.0 GHz. The bus frequency with the use of processor core i 3-540 (3.07 GHz) reached 291 MHz, which with the multiplier 23x allow to obtain the resulting frequency 6699 MHz.
