ASUS Company showed on the passed recently exhibition CES the motherboard rampage III Extreme, oriented to the most inveterate computer enthusiasts.  This computer is based on the chipset Intel x58 + ICH10R. There is a LGA 1366 socket , for example, Core i7, including the six-core models gulftown.  The presence of 32 lines PCI-Express 2.0 allow to use a slot PCI-Express x16 in the configurations x16+x16, x16+x8+x8 or x8+x8+x8+x8.  The power system is made according to eight-phase diagram, SHIM frequency varies in the limits 250-1000 kHz.  According to some data, the price of this motherboard will be $400. | This review cant be accurate, $400 is way to cheap for a board like this, I would love it if it was 400 but I doubt it will be Quad SLI boards on the market at the moment are all above 500 and some up to 700.. This board will be beast. |
