Last week we reported about the overclock to 7 GHz of clarkdale processor , at this frequency the processor executed Super PI 1 Mb in 6.062 seconds.
The Taiwan overclocker hicookie with the aid of a gigabyte motherboard on base of chipset Intel p55 and liquid nitrogen first overclock the processor core i 5-670 (3.47 GHz) to 7125 MHz…  …, and then executed at the frequency of 7034 MHz Super Pi 1mb:  The dual-channel memory corsair worked in the regime DDR 3-2084 with the timing value 8-8- 7-18. The author of record asserts that the memory is capable to work also at the regime DDR 3-2100 with CL6.  Note, that the processor worked with 2.11 v. in order to ensure the processor additional immunity to low temperatures, hicookie made a special modification closing contact (in the figure marked by red).
