Seagate company in its time loudly trumpeted about the announcement of HDD model with SATA-600 interface and 2 TB volume, although the new interface in this case did not ensure any noticeable increase in productivity.
On this week, the hard disk WD1002FAEX was noted in Japanese stores. Relating to the series caviar black this HDD with 1 Tb volume is equipped with a SATA-600 interface, it has 64 mb buffer and the rotation speed 7200 ro/min this is the most accessible HDD with the SATA-600 interface - the model seagate with 2 Tb volume costs almost three times more expensive.  The collection of cross connections limits the interface operation speed to the regime SATA-300 - this is necessary for assuring compatibility with some motherboards.
