Sapphire company preferred to install on its video card radeon HD 5970 the finished solution arctic cooling. For Radeon HD 5870 and Radeon HD 5970 the Swiss company specially developed a new cooler with the active use of heat pipes.  Intended for cooling Radeon HD 5970 , the accelero xtreme of 5970 is characterized by three fans standard size 92 mm and eight heat pipes. This cooling system must appear on the market to the end of month on the tentative price of 60 Euros. Accelero xtreme 5970 will be able to reduce the video chip temperature to 44 degrees Celsius in comparison with the standard cooler radeon HD 5970.  Accelero xtreme 5870 is intended for one chip video card radeon HD 5870, he uses only five heat pipes.
