HP slate will be based on the processor Intel atom z530 (1.6 GHz) with the built-in graphic core. Since HD video playback is supported 1080p, it is possible to assume the presence of hardware decoder like on the platform PineTrail- M with broadcom chip . HP slate has immediately two Webs cameras: one is inverted to the same side, as screen, and one on the opposite side. Two-cell battery with 30 W capacity must be sufficient for five hours of off-line operation. Computer is equipped with operating system Windows 7 Home premium. In the base version slate are supported WiFi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth, WWAN and GPS. The model iPad close in configuration is about $100 more expensive. Apple product has a larger screen and works longer without recharging.
