Inexpensive solid-state disk with reasonable volume from 30 to 40 Gb and with cost from $85 to $125 at the given moment propose OCZ, Kingston and Intel company. The VSSD series on MLC memory begins with model with the volume of only 8 Gb, and concludes with the model with 64 Gb volume. The first cost $65, the second - $175. All VSSD SSD have the overall dimensions 100 X 70 X 9,5 mm (form factor 2.5 ), they are equipped with SATA-300 interfaces.  The speed indice differ from one model to the next, which is completely predicted. 8 and 16 Gb SSD ensure the reading speed not more than 90 Mbyte(s)/s, the writing rate is not more than 30 Mbyte(s)/s. SSD with 32 Gb volume raises these indices to 150 and 60 Mbyte(s)/s, respectively.
