After deciding to release under GeForce GTX 460 two version with different memory capacity and memory bus, NVIDIA company substantially complicated life not only to reviewers, but also to buyers. However, salesmen will remain contented, declaring about the presence of GeForce GTX 460 for price from $199, forgetting in this case to note the weaker version.
At the end of August, Nvidia will release as a minimum two new video card: GeForce GTS 455 and GeForce GTS 450 and hiding their fundamental characteristics of GF106 video chip. It is known only that one video card will have 128- bit bus and 1 Gb GDDR5 memory. Video card in this series will be arranged in the price range from $129 to $179.

Today appeared the images of the printed-circuit board of video card from this series. The card proposes only six memory microcircuits: the volume not more than 768 mb. (1536 mb with the bilateral layout) and memory bus not more than 192 bits.

For additional power is used one six-pin port, on the rear panel are located two ports DVI and one mini-HDMI. The power system design is made according to 3 + 1 phase. During September is expected the announcement of video card on base of GF108 chip, whose cost in the initial configuration will not exceed $100.
