Gainward announced the updated version of graphic accelerator GTX 460, whose official announcement took place in the beginning of the month. Like all products of such type, this device is orientsed to overclockers.  Difference from standard video card version is in the specially designed cooler and doubly increased video memory volume. The complete name of accelerator  is Gainward GTX 460 2GB golden sample. Like all GTX 460, Golden sample is built on 40- nm graphic processor with the code name GF104.  The cooler is supplied with 80- mm fan and a pair 6 mm copper heat piipes. There is 336 CUDA- core,  GPU clock frequency 700 MHz (standard 675 MHz), shader block functions at 1400 MHz, and memory with at 3600 MHz frequency. 2 Gb video memory work at 256- bit bus. This accelerator supports the technology CUDA, PhysX, 3d Vision surround 2 channels SLI. The cost of updated graphic accelerator gainward GTX 460 2GB golden sample will compose 210 euros.
