According to the producer, the series model NVIDIA GeForce 400M will become the weapon of new generation of notebook with the support of NVIDIA optimus and NVIDIA 3d Vision. In the series NVIDIA GeForce 400M entered the models GeForce GTX 470M and GTX 460M, in NVIDIA classification  referred to the category enthusiasts, and the model mass segment GeForce GT 445M, GT 435M, GT 425M, GT 420M and GT 415M. In the case of GT 445M it increased to 560 MHz, in case of GT 435M to 650 MHz. GT 425M core work at the frequency of 590 MHz. In all cases the shader clock frequency is equal to the double frequency of core, and the maximum clock frequency of GDDR3 memory is equal to 800 MHz. (GT 445M can also work with GDDR5 memory, in this case the bus is equal to 192 bit, and the frequency to 1250 MHz). Two elder models are capable of operating 1 GB memory, in remaining models the memory capacity is limited to 512 MB. The most important feature of GPU GeForce 400M is the support to NVIDIA optimus technology, which increase the operation time of netbook . The graphic processors NVIDIA GeForce 400M are first mobile GPU with NVIDIA fermi architecture. In other words, this first mobile GPU NVIDIA, which support DirectX 11.
