Today Acer reported about the update of a number of notebooks. This update affected the high end model aspire AS8943: it obtained the discrete graphic accelerator ATI mobility radeon HD 5850, equipped with two gigas-byte video memory.

Mobility radeon HD 5850 is one of top video card from AMD company . It is produced according to the 40- nm standards technological process, it has 800 stream processors, 16 blocks rops and 128- bit bus . This card can be completed both with GDDR3 and GDDR5 memory.

Besides this, notebook are equipped with 18,4 inches display 1920 X 1080 pixel with light-emitting diode , processor Intel core i 7 -740QM (1,73 GHz), with hard disk with 500 GB volume, adapters gigabit ethernet and Wi-Fi 802.11n, with web- camera 1,3 Mp, five built-in wide-band dynamic loudspeakers and one low-frequency, dactyloscopic sensor and 4 or 8 GB DDR3, up to 16 GB.

The updated acer aspire AS8943 is already accessible in USA, its cost starts from $1500.
