MSI company promised that passage on UEFI will start in the present year, and in three years this system will completely extrude Bios. MSI motherboards for sandy bridge generation processors will use precisely UEFI. For AMD platform passage on UEFI will ensure chipset hudson, which will appear on the market in the following year. As report UEFI representatives , already in the following year UEFI will get over BIOS. The acceleration of UEFI introduction will provide not only the support of HDD with volume more than 2 Tb, but also a wide acceptance of plane-table computers, whose is sufficiently complicated to support virtual keyboards with traditional BIOS. Of course for plane-table devices on base of ARM- processors alternative are Open firmware and Coreboot, but plane-table on base of Intel processors will use UEFI. One of the prime UEFI advantages is the ability to load operating system much more faster than present 25-30 seconds. UEFI System also proposes more developed computer remote control , which will be pleased to system administrators and technical support services. | ||
