How good can be overclocked one of the last representatives from netBurst architecture  , this question was verified by participants in forum xtremeSystems. Our slovenian freind has the engineering model of processor celeron D 365 (3.6 GHz), based on stepping D0 core  cedarMill with 512 KB cache in the second level. Strictly speaking, this model exists only in  stepping D0; therefore to obtain 65 nm processor is possible in any case, even without examining markings. The motherboard asus commando on the base of chipset intel p965 without the problems recognized this processor, voltage on core ( Vcore ) was increased to 1.75 v, and cooling used was cascade . The test Of super PI 1M was excuted  at the frequency of 6480 MHz in 23,093 seconds, it was possible to pass validation CPU- Z at frequency 6613 MHz. Both results are far from records , but we should note that with the multiplier value is 27x and in this case the frequency of system system bus was increased only to 240 MHz. (nice clock for 240 mhz only :-) ) It is known that the processors core cedarMill can be overclocked to 8.0 GHz under liquid nitrogen, for this even it is not necessary to use a processor of stepping D0.
