With the appearance of system bus PCI- E many owners of motherboard with AGP- don't has many chose to update their card , since the AGP- versions of new video card appeared at the market in small parties and it is sufficiently rare, in addition no each video card model has it is analog with AGP- version.

The series geForce 8, according to the communication of associate with reference to some internal sources, will be completely deprived from any versions with the application of AGP system bus . This is not connected not with the decision of producers but with the fact that simply it is not possible to realize such solution. DX10 graphic Accelerators on the base of chips g80, G84 and G86 will be made only only on the system bus PCI-Express.
